Secret Lab is an independent game development and creative technology studio based in Hobart, Tasmania, specialising in both original IP and work‑for‑hire interactive projects. The studio builds games, apps and narrative-driven experiences across mobile, PC and console platforms, combining technical expertise with a strong focus on storytelling and user engagement. In addition to developing its own titles, Secret Lab regularly undertakes contract work for partners across government, education and commercial sectors, delivering bespoke games, apps and cultural experiences for organisations such as the ABC, CSIRO, Qantas and the National Museum of Australia. Known for its work on the BAFTA‑winning Night in the Woods and the widely used Yarn Spinner narrative tool, Secret Lab operates as a flexible end‑to‑end partner offering design, development, consulting and training services to clients in Australia and internationally.
