IGEA ADVOCATES – HELP US HELP YOU! AUSTRALIAN GAME DEVELOPMENT SURVEY INDUSTRY SNAPSHOT, FY2023-2024

Every year IGEA produces a snapshot of the Australian game development industry so we can continue to advocate effectively on behalf of the Australian game development industry.  You can see our previous reports here.

Effective advocacy necessitates that IGEA provide accurate reports comprising of consistent, meaningful, representative and timely data to policy makers, regulators, investors and the media.

With new game development funding measures being consistently introduced over recent years at the Federal and State levels, it is essential that we have accurate industry performance data to measure the impact of such funding and ensure funding continues. To do that, we require broad participation from across the entire industry.

Many of you were contacted directly from our independent researcher, Bond University with a link to complete the FY 2023-24 survey.  If you didn’t receive it and want to help, please follow this link and they will be in touch.

The data is only ever provided to IGEA in aggregate format from Bond University, with IGEA or any other party never having visibility over individual responses.
