GCAP 2021 Schedule is live and The Big Ant Big Hug Ticket offer returns for 2021!

GCAP 2021 is fast approaching and we are all very much looking forward to catching up with our colleagues and friends.  IGEA’s aim for GCAP 2021 is to (virtually) Raise the Bar – to grow, mature, improve, move forward and build upon our reputation as both a highly creative, skilled sector, and thriving community.  

The GCAP 2021 schedule is available now, with more details to be released in coming weeks. Due to demand, we have added extra tracks this year with high quality presentations on topics such as Leadership and Management, Business, Design, Art, Production, Engineering, Audio, Narrative, and Investment.   

We’re delighted to announce our first keynote from Chandana Ekanayake, Co-founder and Studio Director at Outerloop Games, a minority led, fully distributed indie game studio that creates accessible games with depth about underrepresented culture and themes.  

Prior to starting Outerloop, Eka was an art director, game designer, and producer for over twenty years at various game studios including Uber Entertainment, Gas Powered Games, Shiny Entertainment, and Bethesda Game Studios.

More keynotes will be announced over the following weeks.

The Big Ant Big Hug ticket offer will help many developers within our community attend GCAP 2021.

• Part time employees can access a 50% discount off the regular ticket price of $69 per person. 
• Students or job seekers can purchase a ticket for $10 per person. 
• For those in need of greater support, a limited quantity of tickets are available for $2 per person.
