IGEA has published its response to Questions on Notice from the Australian House of Representatives Standing Committee on Communications and the Arts, which were asked as a part of the Committee’s Inquiry into Australia’s creative and cultural industries and institutions. During the Inquiry’s public hearing on 5 February, IGEA were asked to provide information on the level of funding and tax incentives for video game development provided in other countries, as well as the reasons for the high cost of developing video games in Australia. Our additional information provides answers to these questions.
