We’ve come across quite a bit of press the last day or so talking about Professional gaming and the sheer amount of people who actually watch other people play games via services like Twitch.
Brendan Keogh has written a piece over at The Drum (ABC) on how video games are already a mainstream spectator sport.
Similarly, according to a recent study reported on in the Guardian, the number of e-sport viewing hours globally nearly doubled from 1.3bn in 2012 to 2.4bn in 2013.
The numbers are staggering and it will be an interesting area to follow in the coming years.
